Canoe Trip

Spent this past weekend on the Harpeth River on a family/friends canoe paddle trip.  Did 8 1/2 miles.  Got our canoe rental from Foggy Bottom Outfitters.  If you have never paddled the Harpeth I highly recommend it.  Not very difficult, great scenery and lots of points to stop and rest, eat and swim.  Total cost of the canoe rental was $42.  Pretty cheap family entertainment.  The trip lasted about 5 hours after several stops to eat and play around.  Can’t go to the movies for that price and can’t have nearly as much fun either!
